San Diego Fishing Today
San Diego Bay - San Diego, CA
Today was an incredible day out on the waters of San Diego Bay. The sun was shining, the breeze was gentle, and the fish were biting! We started our morning targeting spotted bay bass along the rocky shores, and they were certainly eager to play. Within the first hour, we had already landed a dozen spotted bay bass, each one putting up a good fight.
As the morning progressed, we moved to some deeper spots where the halibut were known to lurk. It didn't take long before we felt that unmistakable tug on the line, and we reeled in some impressive halibut, adding six to our haul.
After a quick lunch break, we decided to switch gears and try our luck with sand bass and bluefin tuna. They were abundant today, and we had a blast reeling them in one after another. By mid-afternoon, we had landed a total of eight sand bass, each one more feisty than the last.
But the highlight of the day came when we unexpectedly hooked into not one, but two bluefin tuna! These magnificent fish put our skills to the test, darting through the water with incredible speed and strength. After some intense battles, we managed to bring both bluefin tuna aboard, capping off an already fantastic day with an unforgettable experience.
Overall, it was a successful and exhilarating day of fishing in San Diego Bay. The variety of species caught, including the prized bluefin tuna, made for an adventure we won't soon forget. Can't wait to get back out on the water for more thrilling fishing experiences!
